Rutherford County, TN - In a significant development, two homicide suspects have been apprehended yesterday (March 27, 2024) in connection with the September 2023 murder of Kyle Martin Jr., aged 22, on Moonlight Drive.
Nathaniel Harris, aged 19, was taken into custody at the Birch Building, where he was appearing in court for an unrelated attempted homicide case. Shockingly, Harris was already out on bond for the aforementioned case when he was apprehended.
Thomas Wade, aged 21, was arrested at his home in Rutherford County in a coordinated effort with the LaVergne Police Department.
Both suspects were indicted this month on charges of first-degree murder for their alleged involvement in the fatal shooting of Kyle Martin. Martin was tragically found in his vehicle with multiple gunshot wounds and succumbed to his injuries at Skyline Medical Center.
In light of the severity of the charges, both Nathaniel Harris and Thomas Wade will be held without bond as the legal proceedings progress.
The apprehension of these suspects marks a significant step forward in the pursuit of justice for Kyle Martin Jr. and his loved ones. Authorities continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the case to ensure that all those responsible are brought to account for their actions.
