MORE: Kohl's in Murfreesboro has been plagued by recurring incidents of shoplifting, with reports dating back several years. In one example from the summer of 2022, a man armed with a duffle bag reportedly entered the Old Fort Parkway store and absconded with a laundry list of clothing items. Subsequently, in 2023, the store faced multiple shoplifting incidents, including a notable case in February where an unknown elderly female allegedly stole over $400 worth of children's athletic clothing. In May of the same year, a man was captured on security cameras stealing merchandise valued at $1,200. These incidents outline a concerning trend of theft targeting this particular establishment.

It raises questions about the security measures in place and whether there are any systemic issues contributing to these repeated incidents. Additionally, it prompts consideration of the efforts undertaken by law enforcement and store management to address and mitigate such losses.
