Double Homicide in La Vergne: Four in Custody

La Vergne, Tenn. – Four people are in custody following a double homicide that occurred on Tuesday night at an apartment complex on Murfreesboro Road. The incident unfolded around 5:45 p.m. at the complex located at 5400 Murfreesboro Road, where a dispute between several individuals escalated into a fatal altercation. The altercation quickly turned violent, resulting in multiple gunshots being fired.

Upon arrival, authorities discovered a 23-year-old male deceased at the scene. A second victim, a 39-year-old male, was critically injured and transported to Vanderbilt University Medical Center, where he later succumbed to his injuries. Additionally, a 45-year-old female sustained a minor gunshot wound and is currently receiving treatment.

The investigation into the shooting is ongoing, with officials considering it an isolated incident.
