Murfreesboro is set to come alive this summer with the return of the annual summer concert series, kicking off on the first Friday in June at the Historic Murfreesboro Square. The “Friday Night Live” Summer Concert Series is free to attend, offering a perfect opportunity for the community to enjoy live music in a vibrant, outdoor setting… That was Sarah Callender, Executive Director of Main Street Murfreesboro.

In addition to the concerts, the Saturday Market takes place every Saturday from 8 AM to 12 Noon through the end of October... Like the concert series, the market is free to attend, featuring a variety of local vendors and produce.

Attendees of the Friday Night Live concerts can expect a lively atmosphere with plenty of space in front of the stage to dance or simply bring a chair and enjoy the music sitting down. Arriving early is encouraged to dine at one of the many locally owned restaurants downtown and to shop around the square before the music begins.
