Sat. (June 15, 2024) 10AM-4PM "JUNETEENTH--Freedom Day" will be held on several blocks of South Academy Street, around The Bradley Academy Museum and Cultural Center. Juneteenth is the celebration of the emancipation of enslaved African Americans throughout the former Confederate States of America. The event will include musical and dance performances, activities for children, craft vendors, displays of art, and there will also be food trucks on site for the event. The entire community is invited to attend. This is a service of Murfreesboro Parks & Recreation Department.
