MURFREESBORO, TN - A Fix-It Fair will take place next month on July 13, 2024 at Greenhouse Ministries, which will also include what they call a Resource Fair... And the Fix-It Fair portion of the event will be held on the outside of Greenhouse on July 13. At the Fix-It Fair, visitors will receive hands-on lessons in making routine repairs around their home... Again, the entire event will take place on Saturday, July 13, 2024 at Greenhouse Ministries in Murfreesboro, a local non-profit that helps others. The free event will be on Saturday, July 13 from 8am to 12pm.

Volunteers will be needed for this upcoming event. Those volunteers will be assigned to different stations throughout the day. As an example, there will be a water station to keep guests well hydrated in the heat, which is always important. Another station on that Saturday will be in the bike repair tent...

Last year, over 5,700 people received assistance through Greenhouse Ministries. Volunteers made that help possible through a variety of classes they taught, their time spent handing out free groceries to those in need, or their involvement in the peer counseling program, just to name a few. Those same volunteers donated nearly 30,000 hours of their time to simply help others.

Another positive program that helps others throughout the year is the Re-Cycle program. Greenhouse helps the community by providing those in need with a set of wheels to get to and from work...

Again, the Fix-It Fair and Resource Fair will be on Saturday, July 13 from 8am to 12 noon at Greenhouse Ministries (307 S Academy Street in Murfreesboro).
