Rutherford County, TN - We're in the final stretch for EARLY VOTING. The last day to early vote is Saturday, July 27, 2024. Rutherford County registered voters can early vote or cast ballots on election day (Thursday, Aug. 1, 2024) at any polling location in this county. 

NOTE: This election is a State and Federal Primary, Rutherford County General Election, and Murfreesboro City Municipal election. 

If you just moved into Rutherford County, you can vote at the polling location. This means that you can visit the location that is most convenient to you during either the EARLY VOTING days or on the actual ELECTION DAY.

If you early vote at the ELECTION COMMISSION OFFICE (#1 South Public Square, Murfreesboro), you can vote 7:00AM to 7:00PM weekdays and 8:00AM to 12-noon on Saturday. Poll hours at all other locations on the weekdays are from 10:00AM to 6:00PM. Monday-Friday, and Saturday from 8:00AM to 12-noon. 

On Election Day, the hours are from 7:00AM to 7:00PM for all voting locations.  Yes, you can vote at the location that is the most convenient to you, when you are ready to cast your vote. 

This coming Thursday morning (8:10 - 9:00AM, July 25, 2024), Rutherford County Election Administrator Alan Farley will be on WGNS Radio to give an update on how this race has been going and to make his "famous prediction of votes to be cast."

LISTEN ON THE NIGHT OF ELECTIONS: On Election Day evening, WGNS will broadcast it's 77th year from the Election Commission office on the Murfreesboro Public Square. You will hear the results first hand as they are hand delivered to WGNS by the Election Commission's staff!  Tune to WGNS on Thursday evening, Aug. 1, 2024, when the polling centers close at 7:00PM.
