After widespread damage from storms on Monday, Tuesday saw its fair share of bad weather. Several severe thunderstorm warnings brought widespread damaging winds, heavy rain, hail and lightning. Over 1,000 homes were without power in the 11pm hour as reported by MTE. That number was greatly reduced as the evening progressed as crews restored power quickly for the second day in a row.

While the storms will dimish, the heat will build with temperatures in the upper 90's and heat index readings close to 110°.
