A man has died after being shot outside a Smyrna gas station late Wednesday night. The incident occurred at the Citgo on North Lowry Street around 10:45 p.m., prompting customers to flee inside for safety.

Police identified the victim as 54-year-old Harlon Webb, a regular customer at the store. Webb was shot during an attempted robbery behind the gas station and later died at the hospital.

Authorities have arrested a juvenile and an adult, Rocky Melton, in connection with the planned attack. Residents of the normally quiet area have expressed shock over the incident. Smyrna Police are continuing their investigation.
