UPDATE: 

Murfreesboro, TN - Public Information Officer Larry Flowers told WGNS, "First responders were dispatched to a two-vehicle motor vehicle accident at Greenland and N. Rutherford Blvd. at 7:22 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 10."

He explained that the Computer Aided Dispatch system, known as CAD, shows that the crash involved a white BMW and a red hatchback vehicle.  

Flowers also reports that a small child was transported to the hospital to be checked out as a precaution.

Murfreesboro, TN - Around 7:30PM Tuesday (9/10/2024) night there was a serious multi-vehicle crash at the intersection of Greenland Drive and N. Rutherford Blvd. 

There were four cars involved.

Murfreesboro Fire-Rescue were quickly at-the-scene and checked-out persons in the cars. Paramedics from Rutherford County Emergency Services then transported the injured patients to the local ER. 

In addition to those agencies, officers from Middle Tennessee State University Police helped to keep the traffic flowing.
