TULLAHOMA, TN - Sitting about 45-minutes southeast of Murfreesboro and straddling both Coffee and Franklin Counties, is a city known for their high tech advancements in aerodynamics and propulsion. The area, which is home to the Arnold Engineering Development Complex, was recently honored when the Tullahoma Economic Development Corporation (TAEDC) has received a 2024 Excellence in Economic Development Bronze Award from the International Economic Development Council (IEDC). The award was bestowed specifically for the organization’s work in the Innovation in Economic Development Week category that impacted 25,000 residents. TAEDC Board Member, Beverly Lee (Colonel, USAF Ret) and TAEDC Executive Director, Winston Brooks, will be acknowledged and honored at the IEDC 2024 Annual Conference in Denver, CO, September 15-18.
