MURFREESBORO – A local act of kindness unfolded when Marquisha Frazier, a Murfreesboro resident, stopped by the Rutherford County Sheriff’s Office to deliver homemade food to the patrol deputies. With temperatures reaching 104 degrees, deputies noticed Frazier was visibly suffering due to her car’s broken air conditioning system.

Patrol Sgt. Brandon Cisek offered her a hydrating drink and soon learned that Frazier couldn't afford the necessary repairs. Moved by her situation, the deputies decided to take action. Patrol Deputy Michael Romans reached out to Todd and Cassie Hayes, owners of Todd’s Complete Auto Care, who generously volunteered to donate the labor for the repairs. Deputies pooled together to cover the cost of the parts.

In a heartwarming moment, deputies invited Frazier to their roll call, where they surprised her with the news about the repairs. Afterward, Deputy Quentin Snook even provided her with a temporary vehicle to drive while the work was being done.

Overwhelmed with gratitude, Frazier was brought to tears as she thanked both the Hayes family and the deputies for their generosity. The Rutherford County Sheriff’s Office extends its heartfelt thanks to Todd and Cassie Hayes of Todd’s Complete Auto Care for stepping up to help a community member in need.
