Nashville, TN - TwelveStone Health Partners CEO and State Senator Shane Reeves spoke to the Coalition of State Rheumatology Organizations Advocacy Conference who were meeting Friday (9/20/2024). He shared findings from the Reeves Report, a study of Tennessee's health in terms of education, healthcare and infrastructure.

The Murfreesboro doctor of pharmacology noted, "Only 20% of our health issues are associated with what you might expect, poor diet, lack of exercise, smoking etc. Surprisingly 40% of our health deficit is the result of social determinants of health, which include access to healthcare, education, transportation, housing and food insecurity."

To aid rheumatologists in protecting their patients and their livelihood, CSRO actively advocates on the state and national level, focusing on educating legislators, government officials and the corporate community on the impact that policy and procedural changes may have to the patient's quality of care and disease management options.

As an organization, TwelveStone supports the transition from acute to post-acute care environments and the transition from sickness to health. It was founded in 2016 and is the third iteration of pharmacy organizations founded by Shane Reeves and the Reeves family.
