MURFREESBORO, TN - An MPD officer responded to Michaels, 2615 Medical Center Pkwy. This past Sunday on Sept. 29 at 4:11 p.m. in reference to a simple assault.

There was a dispute between two adult females and a juvenile female inside the store. One adult female and a juvenile female claims the other adult female rammed a shopping cart into them on purpose.  The adult female says it was accidental. The teen stepped between the two adult females and in the process claims she was cut with a fingernail. 

Due to conflicting stories, the officer determined the incident should be further investigated by CID.  MPD Public Information Officer Larry Flowers told WGNS News on Tuesday, “There was no arrest.”
