The MURFREESBORO CHRISTMAS PARADE will be Sunday, Dec. 8, 2024, starting at 2:00PM. You have now until Dec. 1st to enter.  It begins at MTSU, goes down E. Main, around square, and end on W. Main at Walnut St.

Theme and Decorating To ensure a high-quality parade, all entries must be significantly decorated for Christmas. This year’s theme is A Vintage Christmas. While participation in the theme is optional, we encourage everyone to be creative and join in on the fun!

Santa There will be only ONE Santa in the parade, and he is the Grand Finale. Do NOT have a person dressed as Santa; they will be asked to leave or change costumes. Posters, dolls, inflatable Santa’s are permitted.

Floats Entries pulled by a car or truck cannot be more the 45 feet from the front vehicle bumper to the end bumper of float or trailer. Each float entry includes the vehicle pulling the float or trailer. Each additional vehicle will be charged an entry fee.

Fees Business $50; Church or School $25; Scout, Civic, or Social Group $25; Individuals $25; Horse (one) $25
