La Vergne, TN - At 8:51PM this past Friday night (12/13/2024) the La Vergne Public Library was broken into and burglarized. The suspect, a white male in his 20s with a slim build and a "man bun", used a large rock to gain entry through a back door.
He remained inside the library for over 5-hours; until 2:00 AM Saturday morning (12/14/2024).
Surveillance cameras recorded the male suspect leaving the library (5063 Murfreesboro Rd.) and walking to the 7-Eleven convenience store at 4198 Murfreesboro Pike in Nashville. That's a short distance of only 3-tenths of a mile.
Sources at the convenience store say he attempted to steal multiple candy bars around 4:26AM. He was run off by the store clerks.
The suspect was last seen wearing a black jacket, grey hoodie, blue jeans, and dark-colored boots.
