MURFREESBORO, TN - Throughout the years, cities across the state have continued to grow exponentially, welcoming new residents from all over the country. At the start of 2024, SmartAsset reported that the population of Murfreesboro ranked 16th among the fastest-growing communities in the nation with 100-thousand residents or more. According to the past publication, growth patterns indicate that Murfreesboro's population increased by 19.1% between 2017 and 2022.

Senior living communities in the area have experienced similar growth trends, attracting residents from diverse backgrounds…That was Terri Deal, Executive Director of AdamsPlace in Murfreesboro. But what happens during the holidays?

It’s not hard to get into the festive spirit when in the right setting… Adams Place is decked out in greenery, lights and Christmas trees, making it feel more like a traditional home, as opposed to a senior living facility.

Continued growth has led to the need of more space and thankfully, there is plenty of room to grow on the property owned by AdamsPlace. The goal is to expand independent living options… AdamsPlace is in the early phases of planning right now, but hope to have it developed in the next 3 to 5 years.
