Rutherford County, TN - Rutherford County has achieved a significant milestone by becoming the fourth most populous county in Tennessee. With an impressive population increase of 9,300 residents in 2024, the county's population now stands at 388,900, reflecting a notable growth rate of 2.45 per cent.

The Rutherford County Property Assessor's Office reports that the population growth reflects the ongoing attractiveness of Tennessee's counties, driven by economic opportunities, quality of life, and a welcoming community environment.
