Smyrna, TN – Karin’s Kustard & Hamburgers, a cherished local eatery in Smyrna, has announced its reopening after extensive repairs. The family-owned restaurant will welcome back its loyal customers on Friday, January 3rd, with hours from 10:30 AM to 8:30 PM.
The reopening comes just over a month after an unexpected setback. On November 26th, a vehicle crashed into the building, causing significant damage. Fortunately, no injuries were reported, but the impact forced the business to temporarily close while repairs were made to ensure the building's structural integrity.
The months-long repair process was made possible with the help of local businesses and individuals, including Brandon Baldwin Construction, Jason and Tommy at TJ Electric, Jerry Gann at MidSouth Cooling and Heating, and the City of Smyrna Police Department. Karin’s husband, Brad Dyer, also played a significant role in the rebuilding efforts.
In a heartfelt Facebook post, Karin and Brad expressed their appreciation, stating, “We are so beyond thankful for the outpouring of love and support from our community! We thank you all so much! God is so incredibly good, and we ultimately want to thank Him! We are so blessed and cannot wait to serve y’all soon!”
Karin’s Kustard, known for its signature custards and hamburgers, has long been a staple of Smyrna, loved for its welcoming atmosphere and dedication to the community. The closure highlighted the restaurant’s importance to residents, many of whom eagerly awaited its return.
The reopening marks a new chapter for Karin’s Kustard & Hamburgers, and the Dyers are excited to serve their customers once again. Make sure to stop by on January 3rd to enjoy the restaurant’s signature dishes and support this treasured local business.
