RUTHERFORD COUNTY - A mix of wintry and rainy weather is expected to cap off the weekend and carry into the start of the workweek. A Friday front brought cold weather and by Sunday, that air mass will linger.
While the upcoming weather system is not expected to cause significant issues, we could have a bit of freezing rain Sunday morning before changing to all rain. Areas north of Interstate 40 to the Tennessee state line stand a better chance. And travel through Kentucky could get increasingly hazardous.
Here is a video from Rutherford Weather on the potential impacts for our area.
