Murfreesboro, TN - Out of employee safety during the forecast severe winter weather conditions, Rutherford County Mayor Joe Carr has closed County offices on Friday (1/10/2025) for all non-emergency employees.

All 24 hour departments including the Public Safety team, Fire and Rescue, Emergency Management, Sheriff’s Office, Highway Department, Emergency Medical Service (Ambulance), Correctional Work Center, Juvenile Detention Center, PAWS, and Facilities Management will continue to work during the inclement weather.
