Antioch, TN - Just past the Rutherford County line on Baby Ruth Drive in Antioch, Metro Nashville Homicide detectives are investigating the Friday evening discovery of two deceased persons inside their apartment as a murder-suicide. Detectives believe Eric Lebron Hale, 53, fatally shot his girlfriend, Cheron Sanders, 47, before shooting and killing himself. Police were called to the apartment shortly before 6 p.m. after the two were found dead by Sanders’ son.

Hale was arrested in March 2024 and charged with felony aggravated assault after Sanders called police to the apartment and reported that Hale had pulled her hair and held a knife to her neck. That charge was dismissed in July of last year. Now, both are deceased, and Hale is believed to have committed the violent act of killing Sanders before killing himself.
