Murfreesboro, TN - John Sorace from Dundee Court near Murfreesboro, has been charged with reckless homicide, according to Detective Capt. Todd Sparks with the Rutherford County Sheriff’s Office. The charges result from an ongoing investigation into the death of his wife at their home on January 9, 2025.

The 87-year-old-male is currently being held on a $700,000 bond at the Rutherford County Adult Detention Center.

A hearing has been scheduled for February 24 in General Sessions Court.
