Rutherford County, TN - The Rutherford County Fire Marshal’s Office (RCFMO) Investigators have charged Tiffany Johnson, 26, of Gallatin, with reckless burning in connection with a structure fire that occurred in the 7000 block of Ocala Road in Rutherford County. Ocala Road runs alongside I-840 and is accessible from Almaville Road.
Johnson was booked into the Rutherford County Adult Detention Center, with a bond set at $2,000. A hearing is scheduled for February 18, 2025, in General Sessions Court.
The incident took place on Tuesday, January 14, 2025, just before 10:00 p.m. Emergency crews from Rutherford County Fire Rescue (RCFR), Rutherford County Emergency Medical Service, the Rutherford County Sheriff’s Office, and Almaville Volunteer Fire Rescue were dispatched to the scene of the residential structure fire.
Upon their arrival, crews found heavy smoke and flames emanating from a manufactured home. Firefighters worked diligently to bring the fire under control, and the RCFMO was notified to investigate the cause.
It was determined that the manufactured home, which had no power or water service, was uninhabited at the time of the fire. Following a thorough investigation, RCFMO Investigators identified Tiffany Johnson as the individual responsible and subsequently charged her with reckless burning.
