Murfreesboro, TN - Murfreesboro Transportation Department's Deputy Director Ram Balachandran has an urgent notice to motorists who use the New Salem Highway (state highway 99).

TDOT construction crews will be working on New Salem Hwy between Middle Tennessee Blvd and Old Fort Pkwy.  There will be lane closures, traffic shifts and delays from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.  Please use caution and see alternate route.
