La Vergne, TN - Due to unforeseen circumstances, the City of La Vergne the Christian rock band Newsboys, including Michael Tait, Adam Agee, and Jeff Frankenstein, will not be able to attend and perform at the January 20 Martin Luther King, Jr. Day Celebration. As a result, the City has decided to move the celebration to La Vergne City Hall’s boardroom at 5093 Murfreesboro Road.
Pastor Joe E. Randle, Jr. and Commissioner Hope Oliver are still scheduled to speak at the event, which is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Any questions regarding the event can be directed to the Parks department at events@lavergnetn.gov.
