Hundreds of individuals impacted by pancreatic cancer—including survivors, caregivers, family members, friends, and loved ones—will come together to raise awareness and funds for the world’s toughest cancer.

Pancreatic cancer is the deadliest form of cancer, with a five-year survival rate of just 13 percent. In 2025, an estimated 66,440 Americans will be diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, and 51,750 are expected to succumb to the disease. Increased awareness and funding are crucial to supporting pancreatic cancer patients both locally and nationwide.

According to the National Institute of Health and National Cancer Institute, Rutherford County continues to experience a rise in pancreatic cancer cases, ranking among the top five counties for reported cases.

The walk will take place on Saturday morning, April 26, 2025, at the old Fair Park location of the Nashville Fair Grounds. Registration begins at 8:00 AM, followed by ceremonies at 9:00 AM, and the walk at 9:30 AM.
