Murfreesboro, TN - The former La Vergne Police chief, Burrel Calvin Davis, II, was arrested without incident just before 7:00 o'clock Wednesday night (1/29/2025) following a domestic incident.
Murfreesboro Police PIO Larry Flowers told WGNS, "Davis is charged with four counts of felony especially aggravated kidnapping, felony aggravated assault, two counts of misdemeanor domestic assault and four counts of misdemeanor interference with emergency calls."
The former police chief is charged with four counts of felony especially aggravated kidnapping, felony aggravated assault, two counts of misdemeanor domestic assault and four counts of misdemeanor interference with emergency calls.
Burrel Calvin Davis, II is being held on a $145,000 bond. A hearing is set for March 5, 2025 in Rutherford County General Sessions Court.
The case remains under investigation.
