(NASHVILLE) - Bargain Hunt, a prominent discount retailer with corporate headquarters in Nashville, has announced the closure of all its stores, including three key locations in Rutherford County, Tennessee: two in Murfreesboro and one in Smyrna. The affected local stores are at 1960 Old Fort Parkway and 2850 S. Rutherford Blvd. in Murfreesboro, and at 570 Almaville Rd. in Smyrna. A comprehensive going-out-of-business sale is now underway at these locations, offering significant discounts on all merchandise.

This decision follows the recent closure of Bargain Hunt's distribution center in Antioch, Tennessee, which impacted nearly 300 workers. The company has filed a notice with the Tennessee Department of Labor and Workforce Development, indicating a permanent closure of the facility.

Bargain Hunt's closure comes amid a challenging retail environment, with several discount retailers facing similar fates. Dirt Cheap, another discount chain, recently filed for bankruptcy and is closing all its locations, including stores in Murfreesboro and Smyrna.
