Three Subjects from Murfreesboro and Nashville Arrested on Drug Charges Following Traffic Stop

WILSON COUNTY, TN - North of Rutherford County in Mt. Juliet, Tennessee, a 50-year-old man and a 38-year-old woman from Nashville, along with a 39-year-old woman from Murfreesboro, were arrested on drug charges. The trio were pulled over during a traffic stop when police confirmed that the Chevrolet HHR was displaying incorrect tags. Evidently, the license plate was registered to a Mercedes, and not to the small maroon SUV the individuals were in.

The 50-year-old man, who was driving the vehicle, was found to be in possession of cocaine, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia during the stop. He now faces drug possession charges, as well as a charge for the unlawful removal of a registration plate. This charge pertains to his alleged role in putting someone else's tag on the back of his SUV.

As for the 39-year-old female passenger from Murfreesboro, officers report that she was in possession of cocaine and drug paraphernalia, and she allegedly provided false information about her identity. After polce learned her real name and date of birth, she was placed in handcuffs.  Additionally, she was wanted out of Nashville for failure to be booked, which may shed just a little more light on the false information she initally gave to Mt. Juliet Police, according to the MJPD.

A third female from the Davidson County area was also in the SUV and is facing drug charges as well. The 38-year-old passenger from Nashville was found with cocaine and drug paraphernalia, resulting in charges against her. Furthermore, she had an outstanding warrant for domestic assault with bodily injury, which was pending upon her arrival in Davidson County.
