Previous Tuesday News Story:

WGNS has another update on the Demos’ Restaurant robbery that was reported on Monday. You may find this report a little bizarre to say the least…

As you know employees and a delivery driver were robbed at gunpoint at the restaurant on Monday morning and after the crime two suspects were apprehended.  Arrested were 27-year old Ramar Garrison from Murfreesboro and 28-year old Christopher Clark from Cordova, Tennessee.  After the men were arrested, one of the two suspects filed a police report himself. Clark filed the report from the local jail after he was charged and booked for aggravated robbery.

The report filed by Clark is labeled as a theft. Evidently the getaway vehicle that literally got away after the crime was committed was his. It would appear that the driver of the car fled the scene as sirens could be heard approaching the restaurant. That being said, police know exactly what to be on the lookout for… a gold 2006 Pontiac G-6. The getaway driver, according to Clark, is named Jarius. A passenger in the car at the time of the robbery goes by the nickname of “Money.” Both men are wanted for questioning.

When the police report for the stolen vehicle was filed by Clark who was in lock-up, Clark specifically told police that he and Garrison were only inside Demos’ for approximately five minutes. It was during that five minute window that the alleged robbery occurred.

Garrison and Clark now face aggravated robbery charges and also a charge for theft of property.

Meanwhile, the stolen Pontiac was listed into the National Crime database known by law enforcement as NCIC. A photo of a Pontiac G-6 can be seen below...

Tuesday Morning Report Below:

Demos’ Restaurant employees and a delivery driver were robbed at gunpoint at the restaurant on Monday morning. Murfreesboro Police officers had a forty-seven second response time to the scene of the robbery at Demos' on NW Broad Street and immediately identified two suspects that were caught directly after the incident. Major Clyde Adkison told WGNS, “Several of the employees and a truck driver making a delivery were robbed. The individual victims had their wallets and cell phones stolen.”

Because of the robbery, Demos' had to delay opening on Monday and could not be open for lunch due to the MPD investigation. They did open by dinner time and WGNS observed first hand what we would describe as a large crowd.

Arrested were 27-year old Ramar Garrison from Murfreesboro and 28-year old Christopher Clark from Cordova, Tennessee. The two men were charged with aggravated robbery and also face a charge of theft of property valued between $10,000 and $60,000. As of 9:15 Monday night, the two have not been able to make bond.

A third and possibly fourth suspect have not been apprehended. They may be in a vehicle described as an older model American car that is a four door sedan, gold, beige, or tan in color.
