UPDATE: MURFREESBORO, TN – Construction on the new Buc-ee’s continues in Rutherford County. The mega gas station and store will be next to the I-24 / Joe B. Jackson interchange. Murfreesboro Mayor Shane McFarland commented… Again, the goal is for the store to open sometime in 2026. Reports show the Murfreesboro Buc-ee's, spanning 76,245 square feet, will boast 120 fuel pumps, electric charging stations, and a walking trail.
Also in the works is a Trader Joe’s grocery store - that according to the mayor, will OPEN very soon… Murfreesboro residents can visit the grocery store next month when they open their doors at 2305 Medical Center Parkway, near the intersection of Medical Center Parkway and Robert Rose Drive.
