LA VERGNE, TENN. – A months-long narcotics investigation led to the arrest of a suspected drug distributor in La Vergne, authorities confirmed.
Dajuion Shaw, 31, was taken into custody on March 13 after La Vergne Police narcotics detectives executed a search warrant at his residence on Quiet Lane. Investigators began looking into Shaw’s activities in January before securing the warrant.
During the search, detectives seized approximately 1.5 pounds of marijuana, a firearm, and more than $2,000 in suspected drug-related cash.
Shaw now faces multiple charges, including Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon, Maintaining a Dwelling for Drug Use, Tampering with Evidence, Manufacture/Deliver/Sale of Schedule VI, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. He was booked into the Rutherford County Sheriff’s Office, with his bond set at $24,500.
Authorities have not disclosed whether additional arrests are expected as the investigation continues.
