The five-day event, known as “Miracles on a Mountainside”, brings together approximately 400 disabled Veterans from across the country to engage in adaptive sports therapy. Activities range from downhill skiing and sled hockey to scuba diving, rock climbing, snowmobiling, and more. The event is supported by 600 volunteers and 200 sponsors.
For nearly 40 years, the NDVWSC has provided disabled Veterans with opportunities to overcome challenges and redefine their limitations through participation in adaptive sports.
