Murfreesboro, TN - Around 2:45PM Tuesday afternoon (4/1/2025) a vehicle hit a pedestrian on the John Bragg Highway near Coleman Road and Cripple Creek. Both directions of the John Bragg Highway near Cripple Creek were closed to traffic so that the StatFlight helicopter from Ascension Saint Thomas Hospital could land in the median.
The Tennessee Highway Patrol is leading the investigation into the incident, while deputies from the Rutherford County Sheriff’s Office are working to manage traffic flow and ease congestion.
Motorists are advised to remain cautious in the area as authorities continue to assess the situation. Once again, around 2:45PM Tuesday afternoon, a pedestrian was hit by a vehicle on the John Bragg Highway near Coleman Rd.
