TN Death Toll 8, and rising

Tennessee – The storms that swept across the Volunteer State took at least 8 lives, all are in West Tennessee. Tennessee Emergency Management (TEMA) continues to follow data from across the state.

Tornadoes claimed a life in both Obion and Hardeman counties.

Four storm related deaths were reported by the McNairy County Sheriff’s Office.

And in Fayette County, a family on Sweet Road had their mobile home lifted into the air, and slammed down to the ground—upside down. The mother was trapped inside and found in critical condition. The 48-year-old father and 16-year-old daughter died there. Two are now dead in Fayette County.
