MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – Detectives with the Murfreesboro Police Department are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying two women accused of stealing tequila from a local liquor store late last month.
The theft occurred on Thursday, March 28, 2025, at Big Pigs Wine and Spirits, located on Franklin Road. According to authorities, two unidentified females entered the store and allegedly took several bottles of tequila before leaving without paying. Surveillance footage reportedly shows the suspects exiting the store and getting into a small black Nissan vehicle.
A third woman, also unidentified, is believed to have been behind the wheel of the getaway car. The trio fled the scene before officers could arrive.
Investigators are currently reviewing store surveillance and other evidence in hopes of identifying the suspects. In the meantime, police are turning to the public for help.
