Gary Sanson's art opens 6-8PM Sunday

Tennessee artist Gary Sanson is exhibiting a collection of paintings, drawings and mixed media works at the Center for the Arts gallery now until June 30.  Called "Between the Sun and the Soil", the collection represents his output the past four years, coinciding with the birth of his daughter.

Opening Reception This Sunday Evening
 
A special opening with reception will be held in the gallery on Sunday afternoon (6/9/2013) from 6:00 until 8:00 in the evening.  The Murfreesboro Center for the Arts is at 110 West College Street, one block from the town square.
 
Sanson holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from MTSU (1995) and has worked since then as a graphic artist and as a K-12 art teacher the past six years in Huntland, Tenn.  He says the exhibition at the Center could be described as Neo-expressionist and was inspired by the landscapes around him and those he found within. 
 
Gallery Hours
 
The gallery is open free of charge from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. Tuesday-Friday and 10 a.m.- 5 p.m. Saturday.
