Arrest made in head-on collision that left 5th grade student dead


Cole Johnson, a 5th grade student at PCA, was killed in the May 23, 2022 collision.
42-Year-old Eduardo Tejeda was arrested on Monday afternoon at a home on Mason Court.
Tejeda was handcuffed by MPD Officers and taken to the Rutherford County Adult Detention Center.
This photo and statement were released on social media by Providence Christian Academy shortly after the collision occurred.
